We’re creating an Inspiration Lab in Dudley town centre!

Join us to design and create it! The Inspiration Lab will be a home for all sorts of projects and activities, from crafts and making to talk screenings and co-working. We have a large room complete with 4 wonderfully blank walls and a small window, plus limitless imagination and people with all sorts of skills and talents. Join us on Thursday 5 January to make mood boards, share ideas, and make plans for the space. Between 9 and 13 January we will have a one week sprint to transform the room. Join in any of the co-creation days to contribute your skills and special touch.

Dudley’s first ever grassroots micro-funding dinner is a huge hit

Dudley’s first ever grassroots micro-funding dinner is a huge hit

Over 60 people packed into the hall at DY1 on Stafford Street last night to be part of Dudley’s first ever grassroots micro-funding dinner hosted by Dudley SOUP. On arrival everyone was asked for a £5 funding donation, which generated a £321 pot for local projects to pitch for. 4 ideas had been selected by the SOUP team to pitch on the night.

Dudley SOUP was catalysed by Dudley CVS staff leading A Place To and Active Citizens work in Dudley. One of many inspiring ideas we have helped bring to life in Dudley.

What could we start in a week in Russells Hall?

What could we start in a week in Russells Hall?

Be inspired by great ideas, get connected to other people who share your passion and find out about support to start brilliant things in Russells Hall. St Barnabas Church has a great garden area that all sorts of things could happen in. Rotary House is full of people who can knit, natter and bake. Pop along for a chat and some growing, playing and eating on Monday 26, Wednesday 28 or Friday 30 September.
